SUBJECT: A Reaganite for Vice President

I am deeply concerned about the prospects of President Obama. 

And my anxiety is not calmed when I think of Senator John McCain making the selection of his running mate without the input from rank and file conservatives.

These are the primary reasons why I am writing to you today.

I am a conservative Republican from New York who wants to defeat Senator Barak Obama.

But I also believe that there is a lesson we should learn from Senator Obama's campaign. If you use the tools of the internet to speak to the rank and file anything can happen.
 
Acting on this lesson, conservatives who hope to influence Senator McCain have banded together to promote a young, dynamic conservative Congressman Eric Cantor from Virginia. This new campaign has gained support from Iowa to New York. 

Congressman Cantor has established a conservative record in Congress and I have seen him effectively defeat liberals on TV talk shows.

Congressman Cantor will bring much needed conservatism and energy to a lackluster campaign.

Cantor will address the concerns of grassroots conservatives by championing lower taxes, a strong American dollar, strict enforcement of immigration laws, right to life, family values, and a strong national defense.

Cantor is a young unabashed Reaganite with considerable experience on the campaign trail. And coming from Virginia he will increase the chances of winning this vital State.

I ask you to join us in letting Senator McCain know that the rank and file demands a conservative like Cantor on the national ticket. We know that Senator McCain admires Cantor's talents so nationwide grassroots support will help his case.
